Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on 20th August 1974 Aviano Italy American actress. She is renowned for her critically-acclaimed performance of charming and naive individuals. Adams was one of seven children who lived as a child in the city of Castle Rock, Colorado. Her birth was during the time that her father was employed by the U.S. Military in Italy. In the early 1990s, Adams began performing and dancing professionally for Boulder's Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she joined the regional theater in Minnesota which was where she got her first role as a character in a film mock documentary about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Then, in Los Angeles, she pursued an acting career after her film debut, in which she played the dizzy, but friendly contestant. The actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her film career in the 1940s. Through the years that followed, she appeared in many well-known films like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
